] Aviemore is surrounded by some of the most beuatiful scenery in
the UK. The Cairngorm mountains rise to the east, many lochs can
be found in the spey valley, and some of the walks and views are
simply breathtaking. For more information on Aviemore we have listed
some good websites. We have also listed below some of the main activities

usually available between New Year and Late April. Instruction,
as well ski and snowboard hire, is available at many locations.

There are many good golf courses in the area at which visitors are
welcome. Locally, you have the choice of Boat of Garten (my personal
favourite), Grantown on Spey, Carrbridge, Kingussie, Newtonmore,
and Nethybridge.
